Things Go Better With Coke
Mid 60s ad campaign.Coke has had many successful commercials,Teach the World To Sing,Have A Coke and A Smile, etc.,but to me,none of those others can touch this one.Music by the Limeliters. These ads are one of the reasons why I picked Coke over Pepsi, whose ads of the same period sucked.

Cock o' the Walk Canned Fruit
Never heard of this brand,I dont think. But is kinda funny.Has a pretty catchy tune, and pokes fun at fat people as well.Must be from the 1960s,cause it contains Sucaryl, which was cyclamate. Was banned in about 1970,due to potential health risks.Too bad, because Cyclamate was the best tasting of those crappy artificial sweeteners.

Classic Commercials for defunct products, Part 3 - Matthew Paul Argall
A third compilation video that I (Argall) put together, containing commercials for products and brands which are no longer available. The commercials are mainly from the 1950s. Sometimes the brand is still around but the exact product is no longer available, in some cases both the brand and the product are gone. I sourced most of these commercials from DVD-R copies, so picture quality isn't the best.

Collage of ads from the Anacin collection, including the horrendous quality "Mother PLEASE" one.In my opinion, these are the greatest ads ever made.

Some Old Gasoline and Auto Engine Additive Commercials
A few ads from the 1950s and 1960s,back when my father would go out of his way to patronize the station with 18 cent a gallon gasoline, instead of going to the closer one and paying 21 cents a gallon.

Classic Commercials for defunct products, Part 2 - Matthew Paul Argall
A second collection of commercials for products you can no longer buy. Mainly US commercials, but also including two Australian commercials (courtesy of the Video-Cellar section). Commercials range from 1949 to 1964. Run-time is 41 minutes. Please note that the sound volume is very inconsistant, and there's too much digital compression. Sometimes the brand still exists but the exact product is gone (such as Silken-Net by Revlon), while in many cases both the brand and product are gone (Super Ana...

1968 commercial for ''Dash'' laundry detergent
A 1968 US commercial for "Dash" brand of laundry detergent. The commercial is a bit dull compared to the "Bold" commercial I also uploaded.

Collection of 1950s Lucky Strike Commercials
A collection of 16 commercials for Lucky Strike cigarettes, ranging from around 1953 to 1956. The commercials show some of the advertising styles of the era, as well as some of the slogans used by the brand. I admit this upload has too much digital compression. (WARNING: cigarettes cause cancer, heart disease and wrinkles)

Classic Commercials for defunct products - Matthew Paul Argall
A collection of US commercials for products you can no longer buy. Forgive me if there's any mistakes. Sometimes the brand is still around but the exact product is gone (such as with "Futurama" lipstick by Revlon), sometimes both the product and brand are gone (such as with "Tip Toni"). Some only exist in-name-only, while at least one product is no longer available in the US but is still sold in another country...
